Soochipara Falls | Wayanad Tourist Place

Soochipara Falls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, India. It is surrounded by deciduous, evergreen, and montane forests.



This place is so amazing and silent. After a nice walk through the forest, we will reach the waterfall which is located in between some huge rock formations. The best time to visit is morning. Because we can avoid the rush at that time and can feel the place better. The ticket price is ₹50 for adults. What a beautiful place to be. Wayanad is a precious gem

Good place but a difficult hike for old age people. The stair path is slippery closer to the fall. Recommend wearing footwear accordingly. There were few security personnel near the waterfall which keeps the space safe.


Entry Fee: There is no entry fee to visit Soochipara Falls in Wayanad. Timings: Although it remains open throughout the day, the ideal time duration would be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Exploration Time: 1-2 hours Best Time to Visit: Monsoon Season
